Enclosed please find the usual check for $50, which I am aware is no measure of the value of your services, but it is the regular salary for the month.

The Trustees direct me to express their especial thanks for the ready manner in which you came to their relief, and they are happy to state that Mr. Linter expresses the greatest satisfactions with your efforts to restore the school to its former condition.

We believe now that the arrangements are each as to promise stability and success for the future, and I hope that you will at all times, look in upon the school, and maintain your interest in it.
